- Video Conferencing Application running on an iPad2
There has been an application to view a vidyo conference on the iPad for some time now, so it is not surprising that quickly following the release of the iPad2 with its’ integrated camera Vidyo have released a full 720 p Apple compatible codec. And it is not just the Apple iPad2 which is supported, the vidyo codec will also run on Motorola’s XOOM tablet and the Atrix 4G smart phone.
So Vidyo may be the first to demonstrate a working videoconferencing solution on the iPad2, but we don’t expect them to be the last. The advent of mobile videoconferencing software solutions running as full HD 720 p platforms is truly upon us and we expect to take up to be rapid.
